Security Officer Full Time Access Operations

About The Position

As a Security Officer supporting an automotive location, you will help safeguard clients by monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and assisting with access control and badge-related activities. You will provide customer service and clear communication while helping maintain a welcoming environment. The role supports security operations at an automotive manufacturing location in Fremont, California.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification.
Comfort using a computer or tablet.
Access control and badge experience.
A guard card or license.

Responsibilities

Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Monitor access points, verify credentials, and assist with visitor, contractor, and delivery entry according to site requirements.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, using problem-solving skills and escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, observations, and daily activities in accordance with site procedures.
Provide customer service and clear communication to support a welcoming environment.
