About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer for Visitor Access Operations at a food and beverage production location in Tucker, Georgia. The officer will monitor access points, verify permissions, and help maintain a welcoming and secure environment for employees and visitors. The role emphasizes customer service, clear communication, integrity, teamwork, and a people-first approach. The position is scheduled Thursday through Sunday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and pays $14.00 per hour. Applicants must meet age and education requirements and may be subject to background and drug screening. State or local licensing may be required before employment.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, vendors, and employees while carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and applicable emergency response activities.
Monitor entry and exit points at a food and beverage production location; verify identification, visitor authorization, delivery credentials, and contractor access according to established procedures.
Maintain accurate visitor, vendor, and delivery logs; issue and recover access credentials as directed; and communicate access concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Respond calmly to incidents, access-control alarms, and critical situations, follow site procedures, and promptly report observations.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entry points, business areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
