About The Position

As a part-time Spanish-speaking Unarmed Patrol Security Officer supporting a financial institution location in Houston, Texas, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide customer service. You will communicate with visitors and team members, report security-related concerns, and help maintain a welcoming environment. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM. The pay rate is $17.00 per hour.

Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience.
Fluency in speaking, reading, and writing Spanish.
At least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following established reporting procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of business areas, entry points, parking areas, and the perimeter.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity to appropriate personnel.
Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with site-specific requirements.
