About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol Security Officer at an Amazon warehouse in Charlotte, North Carolina. The role supports a technology, media, and telecommunications location, providing a visible security presence, routine patrols, incident reporting, and customer service. The scheduled shifts are Tuesday through Saturday, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any licensing requirements required by applicable state or local laws and regulations before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and applicable emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, entry points, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and report unusual activity, hazards, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, notify appropriate personnel, and contact emergency services as directed.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications.
• Help deter unauthorized access and policy violations.
