About The Position

As a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location in West Jefferson, Ohio, you will help safeguard tenants, visitors, vendors, and property staff. You will conduct routine and random patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor access and visitor activity, respond professionally to security concerns, and provide customer service. The role involves supporting a welcoming environment and communicating and documenting relevant activities in accordance with site procedures and policies.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state or local laws and regulations before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and property staff by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and applicable emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random patrols of office buildings, common areas, parking facilities, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas, and identify and report unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization according to site procedures, and maintain awareness of building operations and occupancy.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to site policy.
Prepare clear and accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and shift activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and property representatives.
