About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol officer for a utilities-related location in Chino, California. The officer will help safeguard the site by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, supporting site operations, and providing customer service and clear communication. The role reflects Allied Universal’s culture of teamwork, integrity, reliability, innovation, and care. The schedule is Monday through Wednesday, 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM, and Sunday, 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The pay rate is $18.29 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation, subject to applicable law.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to identify unusual activity, hazards, and unauthorized access.
Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and delivery traffic; verify credentials and direct individuals to appropriate locations.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and complete required reports.
Accurately document patrol findings, incidents, and daily activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
