About The Position

As a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a hospitality location in Williamsburg, Virginia, you will serve and safeguard clients and help create a welcoming environment for guests, visitors, and staff. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, communicate professionally, respond to security-related concerns, and provide customer service. The scheduled shifts are Thursday through Sunday, 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The pay rate is $18.50 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations; a license may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders when needed.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of guest areas, historic grounds, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor access points, observe visitor activity, and assist with directing guests in accordance with location procedures.
Document patrols, incidents, and unusual conditions accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and location contacts.
