Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Presence
About The Position
As a Security Officer at a commercial real estate location in Nashville, Tennessee, you will safeguard clients and provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors. The role involves conducting unarmed patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitoring access and visitor activity, and responding professionally to incidents and critical situations. You will communicate observations and site conditions to property management, tenants, and emergency responders, and help maintain a welcoming environment while representing Allied Universal’s people-first culture of teamwork and integrity. This is a full-time position scheduled Wednesday through Sunday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The pay rate is $18.75 per hour.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for an unarmed role.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate logs and incident reports.
- Communicate security observations, incidents, and site conditions professionally to property management, tenants, and emergency responders.
