About The Position

As a full-time Patrol Unarmed Security Officer supporting a transportation location in Honolulu, Hawaii, you will help safeguard clients and provide a visible security presence. You will conduct patrols, report security concerns, and provide customer service and clear communication to travelers, employees, and visitors while representing Allied Universal’s culture of teamwork and integrity. The position is scheduled for Monday and Tuesday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Wednesday and Thursday from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM, and Sunday from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The pay rate is $20.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

A Guard Card/License is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols of airport facilities, terminals, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations, reporting unusual conditions or hazards.
Monitor access to restricted areas and check credentials as required by site procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, notifying appropriate airport personnel and/or emergency responders.
Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for patrols, incidents, and security-related observations.
