About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage manufacturing location in Memphis, Tennessee. The officer will safeguard the site by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, supporting a welcoming environment for employees and visitors, and providing customer service. The role involves responding to security concerns and emergencies, monitoring access, documenting activities, and communicating with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts. The position pays $17.68 per hour. The scheduled shifts are Wednesday through Sunday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing may be required before employment, subject to state and local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific security procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking lots, shipping and receiving areas, and the perimeter.
Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for visitors, contractors, and deliveries.
Accurately document patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities.
Communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
