About The Position

As a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location in Frederick, Maryland, you will help safeguard clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and providing exceptional customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and other stakeholders while supporting a welcoming environment. The role involves following site-specific security procedures and responding to incidents and emergencies as appropriate. The posted schedule is Friday and Saturday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, and Sunday from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The pay rate is $21.34 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation, as a condition of employment and in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen, as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations calmly, following established escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor entry and exit activity and verify authorized access in accordance with site policies.
Report suspicious conditions or persons to appropriate personnel.
Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities in clear and accurate reports.
