About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring an Armed Security Officer for an oil refinery. The officer will serve and safeguard clients, carry out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate. The role also involves responding calmly and constructively to incidents and critical situations, and conducting regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site. The position pays $25.50 per hour, paid weekly. Applicants must be at least 21 years old and meet the stated security, law enforcement, or military experience requirement. Employment is subject to background investigation and drug screening as permitted by law. The officer must participate in industry-specific security and safety training. Licensing may be required before employment depending on applicable state or local requirements.

Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age for an armed role.
Have at least one year of security experience, or prior law enforcement or military experience.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or have five years of verifiable experience.
Participate in industry-specific security and safety training programs.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
Have a valid driver's license if applying for a driving position.
