About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Tactical Armed Security Officer in Los Angeles, California. The role requires keen observation, the ability to anticipate risks, and the physical ability to move and patrol throughout the shift. Officers patrol sensitive areas, control access, respond to alarms and incidents, and help protect people and property.

The position is available on either of two full-time graveyard schedules: Sunday through Wednesday or Thursday through Saturday, 10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. The pay is $27 per hour. Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Have at least two years of experience as an Armed Officer.
• Have a state-issued armed security license and meet applicable state requirements for carrying a firearm as a security officer.
• Have a California security license (BSIS Guard Card) and the additional 32 hours of BSIS security training; additional training may be obtained during the hiring process.
• Have a California Exposed Firearm Permit.
• Have CPR certification.
• Be physically able to move and patrol throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to identify suspicious activity.
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas.
• Respond quickly to threats or incidents.
• Check that alarms and cameras are functioning properly.
• Document incidents and actions taken.
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks.
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents.
• Protect the safety of individuals and property.
