About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring an Armed Security Officer in Memphis, Tennessee. The officer will serve and safeguard clients in industries including commercial real estate, healthcare, education, and government. The role involves providing customer service while following safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, responding to incidents and emergencies, and conducting patrols. Scheduling combinations are available.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Must have a valid driver's license; a license is required for driving positions.
Must have 3 or more years of law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or 5 or more years of armed security experience.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Must participate in industry-specific security and safety training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
