About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Tactical Armed Security Officer in Los Angeles, California. The role involves patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, and detention centers throughout the shift. Officers are expected to observe their surroundings, anticipate risks, and respond appropriately to threats and incidents. The position offers two full-time graveyard schedules: Sunday through Wednesday or Thursday through Saturday, both from 10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. Compensation is $27 per hour.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Have CPR certification.
• Have at least 2 years of experience as an Armed Officer.
• Hold a state-issued armed security license and meet any additional state requirements to carry a firearm as a security officer.
• Hold a California security license (BSIS Guard Card) and complete additional 32-hour BSIS security training. The posting notes that additional security training can be obtained during the hiring process.
• Hold a California Exposed Firearm Permit.
