About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Surveillance Security Officer for a refinery site in Victoria, Texas. The officer monitors security systems and screens for suspicious activity, documents events and incidents, responds to threats, conducts patrols, controls access to secure areas, and helps protect people and property. The position requires a TWIC card and involves day and night shift work in 12.5-hour shifts, with schedules of 36 or 49 hours per week and overtime available. The hourly wage is $15.50. Uniforms are provided at no cost. Employment is contingent on passing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Must have a TWIC card.
• Provide a resume.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Have strong report-writing skills.
• Have sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills.
• Be strongly proficient with technology.
• Have a Texas security license or be able to obtain one.
• Be able to obtain a valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

• Security, military, or law enforcement experience is preferred.
