About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Surveillance Security Officer in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The role focuses on identifying threats by carefully monitoring security screens and systems in settings such as security operations centers, call centers, and parking gatehouses. The officer helps protect people and property by detecting suspicious activity, responding to incidents, conducting patrols, controlling access, and documenting observations.

The position is full-time, Wednesday through Saturday, on the second shift from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. The listed hourly wage is $19.00. A uniform is provided at no cost. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Have strong report-writing skills.
• Have sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills.
• Have strong proficiency with technology.
• Hold a Florida Class D license.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
