About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Surveillance Security Officer to monitor security systems and identify potential threats before they escalate. The role involves work in settings such as security operations centers, call centers, and parking gatehouses. The officer uses observation and attention to detail to help protect people and property.

The position is based in Charles City, Iowa. The stated schedule is full-time: Saturday and Sunday from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., Monday from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m., and Friday from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. The hourly wage is $17.25. The company provides a uniform at no cost and describes career growth opportunities.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Have strong report-writing skills.
• Have good eyesight and the ability to maintain focus.
• Have strong proficiency with technology.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Be available to work holidays.
• Be able to obtain and maintain an Iowa state private security license; GardaWorld will pay for and help obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
