About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a part-time Security Officer - Surveillance in San Francisco, California. The officer monitors and patrols the premises, identifies threats or hazards, responds to incidents, and helps protect people and property. The role also involves documenting incidents, controlling access, reviewing security systems for vulnerabilities or malfunctions, delivering customer service, and collaborating with law enforcement during serious situations or emergencies.

The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 9:30 PM to 6:00 AM, for 16 hours per week. The wage is $25.00 per hour. A uniform is provided at no cost. Additional BSIS security training may be obtained during the hiring process.

Requirements

• Hold a state security license (BSIS Guard Card) and have completed the additional 32-hour BSIS security training; additional training may be obtained during the hiring process.
• Have an active driver's license.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Have at least 6 months of security experience.
• Have strong report-writing skills.
• Be familiar with access control procedures.
• Have strong customer service skills or experience.
• Have sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills.
• Have strong proficiency with technology.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the premises to ensure security.
• Conduct foot or company-vehicle patrols to identify suspicious activity.
• Document observed events and incidents by writing detailed reports.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
