About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Surveillance Security Officer to monitor security systems and identify threats before they escalate. The role involves observing screens, responding to incidents, documenting events, and helping protect people and property. The position is located in Albany, Illinois, and follows a split schedule: Saturday and Sunday on the first shift from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Tuesday and Wednesday on the third shift from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. The hourly wage is $18.70. A uniform is provided at no cost. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Have strong report-writing skills.
• Have sharp visual acuity and exceptional concentration skills.
• Have strong proficiency with technology.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Be able to obtain and maintain an Iowa security license.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
