About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Surveillance Security Officer in Waukegan, Illinois. The role involves monitoring security systems and identifying threats in settings such as security operations centers, call centers, and parking gatehouses. The schedule is full time: Saturday and Sunday on the first shift, 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Monday through Wednesday on the second shift, 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. The hourly wage is $20.20. A uniform is provided at no cost. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Must have a valid Illinois PERC.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be able to provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Must pass an extensive screening process.
• Strong report-writing skills.
• Sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills.
• Strong proficiency with technology.
• Must have a state license if required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
• Document observed events and incidents by writing detailed reports.
