About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Surveillance Security Officer in Victoria, Texas. The officer monitors security systems and screens to spot potential threats before they escalate, while helping protect people and property in a refinery setting. The position has a set shift-work schedule covering days and nights, with 12.5-hour shifts and available overtime; the posting lists 36/49 hours per week. The hourly wage is $15.50. A TWIC card is required. A uniform is provided at no cost. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Must have a TWIC card.
• Provide a resume.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Have strong report-writing skills.
• Have sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills.
• Have strong proficiency with technology.
• Have a Texas Security License or be able to obtain one.
• Be able to obtain a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
