About The Position

As a part-time Unarmed Security Officer supporting a technology, media, and telecommunications location in Alpharetta, Georgia, you will help safeguard the client’s site while providing professional customer service. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. The role requires at least five years of security-related experience and involves working Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of security-related experience.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business, perimeter, parking areas, and common spaces to identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership about security observations, policy concerns, and response activities.
