About The Position

As a part-time unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, you will help safeguard patients, visitors, staff, and the facility. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment. The role includes customer service, clear communication, and use of computer or tablet tools as needed.

The scheduled shifts are Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM. The pay rate is $17.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any licensing requirements that apply under state and/or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by following site-specific procedures, healthcare location policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, medical emergencies, access concerns, and other critical situations while following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the healthcare facility, surrounding grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with wayfinding, and report security-related concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Complete required incident reports, daily activity logs, and shift communications accurately and in a timely manner.
