About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer for building office access control at a financial institution in Santa Ana, California. The officer will provide a welcoming, visible front-desk presence and support access control, visitor management, and security-related communications. The role involves assisting employees and guests professionally while helping maintain an orderly environment. The listed schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 12:00 AM–8:00 AM. The pay rate is $23.00 per hour.

Requirements

At least two years of security-related experience.
Comfort using a computer or tablet.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Greet employees, clients, visitors, and vendors professionally and provide front-desk customer service.
Verify visitor identification, follow site-specific entry procedures, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor records.
Monitor access points, lobby activity, alarms, and security-related systems, and report unusual activity or concerns according to site policies.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, visitor inquiries, and critical situations; contact appropriate personnel or emergency services when needed.
Provide directions, communicate applicable site policies, support a professional lobby environment, and help deter unauthorized access.
