About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer to provide unarmed patrol and access-control support at a financial institution in Santa Ana, California. The officer will help safeguard employees and visitors by maintaining a visible presence, conducting patrols, monitoring activity, reporting security concerns, and providing customer service. The role includes responding professionally to incidents and alarms, documenting activity, and following site-specific policies and procedures. The listed schedule is Monday and Tuesday, 8:30 PM to 5:30 AM. Pay is $19.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, consistent with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of financial institution business areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and vendor activity; report unusual conditions and potential security concerns.
Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications in accordance with company and site requirements.
