About The Position

As a Security Officer Hospital Overnight Full Time Visitor Screening in Poway, California, you will serve and safeguard clients in healthcare settings. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation, in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations, and may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Screen people entering the healthcare location according to established access, visitor management, and health screening protocols.
Communicate professionally with patients, visitors, and staff, providing directions and assistance while maintaining an orderly entry process.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, use problem-solving skills, and promptly report concerns to appropriate personnel.
Monitor assigned entry areas for security-related concerns and help deter unauthorized access according to site procedures.
