About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer for an assigned bank ATM vestibule site in New York, NY. The position offers a designated weekly shift as a reliable base schedule, with a six-month commitment to that assignment. Officers may claim additional shifts through the scheduling platform, with the opportunity to build up to 40 hours per week and the option to scale back. The role is described as part-time and is intended to provide consistent hours with flexible opportunities to earn more.

The officer provides customer service while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities. The officer responds calmly to incidents and critical situations and conducts regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter. Conditions vary by client site; this location has limited on-site facilities, including portable toilets and rustic guard shacks. The role pays $23.00 per hour.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or 21 years old or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements; licensing may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

• A state-, county-, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
