About The Position

As a Security Officer Bank Patrol in San Diego, California, you will serve and safeguard clients at a financial institution. In this unarmed security role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, provide customer service, and communicate observations and concerns. You will help support a welcoming environment while responding to security-related situations.

Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing may be required before employment, depending on state and local laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations, following established site protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of financial institution facilities, offices, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with company and site requirements.
