About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Support in South Bend, Indiana, you will serve and safeguard clients at a logistics location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. The role involves routine patrols, observing and reporting unusual activity, supporting access control, and providing customer service and communication. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site.

This is a full-time position paying $18.20 per hour. The schedule is Wednesday through Sunday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any licensing requirements applicable under state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver’s license if the position involves driving.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and support emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
• Monitor assigned areas, maintain a visible presence, observe and report unusual activity, and support access control.
