Security Officer - Patrol Support

About The Position

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a financial institution in Tempe, Arizona, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide customer service and communication. You will help create a welcoming environment for employees and visitors while responding professionally to changing needs. The role is part-time and pays $25.00 per hour. The scheduled shifts are Monday, Saturday, and Sunday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Requirements

Possess at least one year of law enforcement experience, two years of security-related supervisor or manager experience, or three years of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements imposed by state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.
Have a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the banking location, including interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter.
Monitor access points and observe visitor and employee activity; report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with company and site-specific requirements.
