About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer Patrol Support to serve and safeguard clients at a retail location in Perris, California. This unarmed, driving patrol role involves maintaining a visible presence, conducting foot and vehicle patrols, helping deter security-related incidents, and supporting a welcoming environment for customers, associates, and visitors. The position requires a valid driver’s license in the job state and compliance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. The schedule is Monday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Pay is $18.00 per hour.

The officer provides customer service, follows security procedures and site-specific policies, responds to incidents and emergencies as appropriate, reports suspicious activity and safety or maintenance concerns, maintains activity and incident records, and provides access-control support as assigned. Employment is conditional on a background investigation and a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local law.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; required for driving positions.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

• Guard card or license preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store associates while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of sales areas, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns to store contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, customer disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events, following site procedures.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports.
• Provide access-control support for employees, visitors, vendors, and deliveries as assigned.
