As a Security Officer Patrol in Zeeland, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will support access control, respond to alarms, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing and industrial buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking lots, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying visitor, contractor, and delivery credentials; maintain visitor logs; and follow site-specific entry and exit procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and promptly reporting concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
• Observe and report potential hazards, facility damage, unauthorized activity, and policy violations while maintaining professional communication with personnel throughout the location.
