About The Position

We are looking for a vigilant and professional Security Patrol Officer to join our team Full-Time. The ideal candidate will be responsible for patrolling assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of personnel, property, and assets. You will maintain a high visibility presence and prevent all illegal or inappropriate actions. The goal is to detect, deter, observe and report. This role requires strong observational skills, quick decision-making, and the ability to respond effectively to incidents.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or military (preferred but not always required)
Experience with surveillance systems and patrol procedures is a plus.
Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
Strong observational and attention-to-detail skills.
Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Basic computer skills for report writing and incident documentation.
Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
Ability to work independently and follow protocols.
Must pass a background check and drug screening.
Must have Security D License
Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to work in various weather conditions and environments.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Protect company’s property, staff and clients by maintaining a safe and secure environment
Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances
Act lawfully in direct defense of life or property
Write detailed incident reports, take accurate notes of unusual occurrences and maintain daily activity logs
Report in detail any suspicious incidents
Patrol randomly or regularly building and perimeter
Monitor surveillance and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates
Watch alarm systems or video cameras and operate detecting/emergency equipment
Perform first aid or CPR
Control access to buildings and property by verifying identification and authorizations.
Respond to emergencies and assist law enforcement when necessary.
Deter criminal activity through visible presence and adherence to security protocols.
