Security Officer Customer Support Patrol
About The Position
As a Security Officer Customer Support Patrol in Council Bluffs, Iowa, you will serve and safeguard clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location. This is an unarmed patrol role focused on monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents, and delivering exceptional customer service. You will use clear communication and technology tools to support a welcoming environment while reflecting Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, care, teamwork, and integrity. This is a full-time position paying $18.80 per hour. The scheduled shifts are Monday and Tuesday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and Saturday and Sunday from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet state or local licensing requirements if required prior to employment.
Nice To Haves
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
- Monitor access to designated areas, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized entry attempts or access-control concerns according to site procedures.
- Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and document actions taken.
- Complete accurate patrol logs, incident reports, and daily activity documentation in accordance with company and site requirements.
