About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Security Support in Honolulu, Hawaii, you will serve and safeguard clients at a government location. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at government facilities by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of government buildings, public areas, parking facilities, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and check credentials, permits, and visitor authorization in accordance with site-specific procedures.
Respond to incidents, public inquiries, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and complete required reports.
Communicate with site personnel, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, hazards, and operational concerns.
