About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol security officer for a logistics and distribution location in Minooka, Illinois. The officer will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. The role includes clear communication, accurate documentation of security-related activity, and exceptional customer service. The stated schedule is Wednesday through Sunday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Pay is $17.50 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require a minimum age of 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements that apply under state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.
Have a valid driver’s license only if the position involves driving.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the distribution facility, loading docks, parking areas, perimeter, and other assigned locations to identify unusual activity or hazards.
Monitor entrances, exits, and vehicle traffic, and verify authorized access according to site procedures.
Accurately document observations, incidents, and patrol activity, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and emergency responders as needed.
