About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed Security Officer for a logistics and distribution location in Minooka, Illinois. The role involves monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents, and reporting security-related concerns. The officer supports a welcoming environment through clear communication and customer service while carrying out site-specific security procedures and policies. The scheduled shifts are Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The pay rate is $17.50 per hour. Employment is conditional on a background investigation and drug screen, as permitted by law. Licensing may be required under applicable state or local regulations.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
Monitor access points, verify authorized entry as directed by site policies, and maintain accurate activity and incident reports.
Support the orderly movement of personnel, visitors, and deliveries.
Communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
