About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Response Security Officer for a logistics security role in Las Vegas, Nevada. The position requires adapting to changing duties and events, which may include customer service, patrols, surveillance, access control, and responding to critical situations. Officers observe and report activity, enforce client procedures, and patrol facility grounds by vehicle, golf cart, or on foot. The role also involves working with electronics, maintaining assigned vehicles and equipment, and preparing detailed reports. Two part-time schedules are listed: Shift 1 is a day/swing mix, with Saturday and Sunday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and Thursday from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.; Shift 2 is Wednesday and Thursday from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The hourly wage is $18.01. Uniforms are provided at no cost, and DailyPay is available to GardaWorld employees.

Requirements

Be at least 21 years old, as required by applicable law or contractual requirements.
Have a valid driver's license.
Have at least 1 year of security experience in a fast-paced environment, or equivalent military or law enforcement experience.
Have a valid PILB in hand.
Have a high school diploma or GED in hand.
Have or be able to obtain CPR/AED certification in a timely manner; the description also states certification can be obtained within one week or less after an offer.
Be authorized to work in the United States.
Be able to multitask and work well under pressure.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service to clients.
Observe, survey, and report activities at the assigned site.
Respond quickly to critical situations.
Screen guests, employees, vendors, and other visitors upon entry and exit as part of access control.
Patrol facility grounds inside and outside by car, golf cart, and/or on foot.
Read and write detailed reports.
Enforce client procedures, regulations, and standards.
Work proficiently with electronics.
Maintain vehicles and other assigned equipment and follow proper procedures.
