About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Officer Logistics for a logistics and distribution location in Summerville, South Carolina. The officer will safeguard clients by maintaining a visible security presence, patrolling assigned areas, supporting access control, and providing customer service. The role involves communicating professionally with employees and visitors and using computer or tablet tools as needed. The stated schedule is Saturdays and Sundays, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The pay rate is $17.50 per hour. Applicants must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is conditional on a background investigation and, to the extent permitted by law, a drug screen. State or local licensing may be required before employment. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Carry out site-specific security procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following site protocols and reporting requirements.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and the facility perimeter, identifying and reporting unusual activity or hazards.
Monitor entry and exit points and verify authorized access for personnel and visitors.
Document truck, trailer, and delivery activity according to site procedures.
Complete accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate shift handoffs professionally.
Maintain a visible presence and provide customer service to employees and visitors.
