About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The officer will safeguard clients at a retail location by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence, and providing customer service. The role involves communicating professionally with customers and team members, responding to security concerns, and helping maintain a welcoming environment. The schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Pay is $19.95 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements that apply under state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.
Have a valid driver's license if applying for a driving position.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store personnel by following security procedures and site-specific policies and, when appropriate, carrying out emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols in sales areas, stockrooms, receiving areas, parking areas, and around the perimeter.
Monitor customer and employee activity and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, follow site procedures, and document observations as required.
Assist with access control and delivery and vendor activity, while supporting a welcoming environment for customers and employees.
