About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer to help safeguard clients across industries including commercial real estate, healthcare, education, and government. The role involves providing customer service, following safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, responding to incidents, and conducting regular and random patrols around a business and its perimeter. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site. This is a full-time, hourly position with a morning shift and weekly pay at $19 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or 21 years old for armed roles.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Be able to walk and stand for long periods.
• Be able to work outside for long periods.
• Have a valid driver's license and a good driving record for driving positions.
• Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of security experience is preferred but not required.
• Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients while carrying out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies.
• Perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
