About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer for a dispatch position at a healthcare location in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. The officer will monitor communications and security systems, coordinate responses to security-related incidents, and support access and alarm operations. The role calls for a professional presence, clear communication, and strong customer service to help create a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The pay rate is $22.95 per hour.

Requirements

At least two years of security-related experience.
At least 21 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing may be required before employment, subject to state and local laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience.
Comfort using a computer or tablet.
Alarm panel experience.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security procedures and policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Monitor communications systems, alarms, cameras, and other security-related technology; receive calls for service; and dispatch appropriate personnel according to site procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, escalating concerns to site leadership and emergency services as directed.
Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident reports, visitor information, and other required documentation while protecting confidential healthcare-related information.
Coordinate routine and urgent communications with security personnel, facility staff, vendors, and first responders to support site operations.
