About The Position

As a Security Officer in Dispatch Operations at a commercial real estate location in Montgomery, Alabama, you will coordinate communications, monitor activity, and support timely responses to security-related needs. You will use computer-based systems, maintain clear records, and provide professional customer service while helping deter incidents. The role is full-time and pays $17.93 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation, in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations, and may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property personnel by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Monitor communications systems, receive calls for service, document incidents, and dispatch appropriate personnel.
Maintain activity logs, incident reports, visitor information, and other dispatch-related records according to site procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, coordinating notifications and assistance as directed.
Monitor access points, alarms, cameras, and/or building systems as assigned; report unusual activity and escalate concerns according to established procedures.
