About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver Loss Prevention in Dallas, Texas, serving a retail location. The role involves vehicle and foot patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents, and supporting a welcoming environment for customers and team members. The driving position requires strong communication and customer service. The position pays $16.00 per hour and is scheduled Thursday and Friday from 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
A valid driver’s license, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
A high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
State or local licensing may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and assist with emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations.
Conduct regular and random unarmed vehicle and foot patrols throughout sales areas, entrances, parking areas, receiving areas, and the surrounding perimeter.
Monitor for suspicious activity, policy violations, and potential hazards, and report observations to site leadership or appropriate personnel.
Assist with access control and visitor direction, and maintain a professional presence to help deter unauthorized activity.
