About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Incident Prevention in Atlanta, Georgia, you will serve and safeguard clients at a logistics and distribution location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and report security-related concerns. You will provide customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. This is a part-time position with a schedule of Thursday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, and Friday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM. The pay rate is $16.39 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter; identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor access by verifying credentials, directing visitors and contractors, and documenting entries and departures in accordance with site procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and prepare clear incident reports.
Help maintain orderly vehicle and pedestrian traffic around shipping and receiving operations while observing and reporting security-related concerns.
