About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Unarmed Patrol Prevention Security Officer in South Bend, Indiana, at a logistics-focused location. The officer will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, report observations, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and provide customer service. Work is scheduled Monday through Wednesday and Saturday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The pay rate is $18.20 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for an unarmed role.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any licensing requirements applicable under state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
• Monitor assigned areas and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents.
• Report observations and communicate professionally with employees and visitors.
