About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Prevention in Kapolei, Hawaii, you will serve and safeguard clients at a healthcare location. In this unarmed patrol role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide customer service and communication to patients, visitors, staff, employees, and vendors. You will help support a welcoming environment and respond professionally to security-related needs.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements; licensing may be required before employment.
Possess a valid driver's license for driving positions only.

A Guard Card/License is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, patients, visitors, and vendors by following site-specific procedures and policies and carrying out emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations, following established procedures.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and report suspicious activity or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
Accurately document incidents, patrol observations, and security-related concerns, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
