Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver
About The Position
As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver in Clifton Hill, Missouri, you will serve and safeguard clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will conduct vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond professionally to site needs, and provide customer service while supporting a welcoming environment. This is a full-time position scheduled Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The pay rate is $17.00 per hour.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of security-related experience.
- A valid driver’s license, required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements and for driving positions.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
Nice To Haves
- Baton certification is preferred.
- Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and batons is preferred.
- Handcuffing certification is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed vehicle and foot patrols of the facility, parking areas, access points, and perimeter.
- Monitor access to the location and verify visitor and contractor authorization according to site requirements.
- Maintain accurate activity and incident documentation.
- Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and request emergency services when needed.
- Report maintenance concerns, unauthorized access attempts, and other security-related issues to site leadership.
