About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver in Westlake, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients at a chemical and petrochemical location. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, support access control, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. This driving position also requires exceptional customer service and clear communication while working with a reliable team.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, spills, and other critical situations, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production-adjacent areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter.
Monitor access by verifying credentials, observing visitor and contractor activity, and documenting entries, exits, and unusual conditions.
Prepare clear reports of incidents, patrol observations, hazards, and policy violations, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
